FRC Team 8298, founded in 2019-2020, has shown remarkable dedication to FIRST Robotics, overcoming pandemic challenges. They won the Rookie Inspiration Award in their debut season and the Entrepreneurship award in 2021-2022. Mentoring FTC and FLL teams, they secured championship spots and community awards. Notably, they nurtured a student's Dean's List Award in both categories. Three seniors made the All-State Robotics Team, highlighting their mentorship's impact. With a 100% graduation rate, 50% in STEM fields, they actively promote passion pursuits. They've fostered new FIRST teams, initiated a sumo bot program, and supported FLL competitions. Engaging with organizations like SASA and the Rainbow Alliance, they've lobbied for STEM education, collaborating with legislators across multiple states.
